We are located at 406 West Avenue A, Buhler, KS. This home has a long history of service. It was built in the late 1800's, then purchased by the Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church to fulfill their mission for an "old people's home." For many years, it was the Sunshine Home before being moved to its current location, where we Spencers have lived for almost twenty years. We raised our family of eight children here--four birth and four adopted--and many happy memories have been made here.

We want that joy to live on, so there's plenty of space for relaxing, including our front porch, balcony, and back deck. We also have a grill for your use, or you can enjoy a meal in Buhler or nearby Hutchinson, only ten miles away.

Buhler is a safe, small town environment with the city of Hutchinson only ten minutes away. There's so much to do in our area. Buhler hosts Adrians Unique Boutique, The Mustard Seed Coffee Shop and Deli, Town Hall Antiques, LaVon's Catering, Mane Street Fashions, The Rustic Edge, and The Old Mill Theatre, just to name a few.

And of course, Hutchinson draws visitors with the Kansas Cosmosphere and the Underground Salt Mines, both well worth a visit.

Some of our features include wireless internet, a swimming pool open for spring and summer seasons, a hot tub on the back deck to enjoy year round, a large park across the street complete with swings and a basketball court, and a porch, deck, and balcony for guests to enjoy at their leisure.

We love providing all Buhler stands for in the way of Tradition, Faith, and Values, while also staying current with modern conveniences. Our name reflects the loving touch of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, and His staff, which is grand in every aspect of His care of His sheep.
