Shepherd's Care Homes
Our first home, Still Waters, opened in April of 2017. It was designed to care for up to 12 girls, so when we ended up with 15, we knew it was past time to build the second home, Green Pastures.
We’ve cared for 30 children in those two homes. Currently we have 19 girls.
Although we love the model of having houseparents with both a mother and a father, through the years, we’ve realized that the girls do better with a grandmother figure. So we have two gogos (Swazi for grandma) who currently care for our 19 girls.
They still have the blessing of being around Pastor Malibongwe and our missionary, Levi Lettau as examples of godly men.

Children's Needs
It costs about $3,000 annually for the younger children to live in the home and about $4,000 for a high school student to live there. This provides housing/utilities, food and clean water, regular doctor and dentist visits, medications, school fees/uniforms, clothing/shoes, and toiletries.
Most of the children in Shepherd’s Care have more than one sponsor to meet their needs.
Only 7 of our Shepherd’s Care girls are fully sponsored.
