Okuhle
Okuhle is a precious 6 year old girl who has suffered from gross neglect of daily needs being met and horrendous abuse. A placement with a relative was short-lived. We’re incredibly thankful that our social worker is giving us the opportunity to welcome Okuhle into a loving home environment where her every need will be abundantly met and she’ll be introduced to who Jesus is. Since she hasn’t received any schooling, we’ll see if she fits best in our Little Lambs Preschool when school starts in January, or if she’s ready to attempt first grade. The severity of her abuse means she’ll need ongoing Christian therapy for quite awhile, which means her financial needs will be higher than usual for a child her age.
